Questions

Does it cover the Goethe A1 word list?

Yes. The kit covers every word on the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 word list, the vocabulary the A1 exam expects you to know, plus a few everyday words you need from day one in Germany (like Pfand). The example sentences only use A1 grammar. Beyond German isn't connected to the Goethe-Institut.

Who is it for?

Complete beginners, people moving to Germany, and anyone preparing for an A1 exam, for example for a visa. The English explanations are written for English speakers.

Is this a list of the most common words?

Not exactly. A frequency list is ranked by how often words appear in texts. The A1 list is chosen by what you need to get by: introducing yourself, the Bürgeramt, the doctor, buying a ticket. The two overlap a lot, but the A1 list is the one exams and courses use.

How is the audio made?

With a natural German AI voice at a slower, learner-friendly speed. Every clip is checked against its text before it goes in the kit.

Do I need an account?

To use the flashcards and download your copy again later, yes: sign in with Google or email. It's free.

What happens after I pay?

Two emails arrive right away: your order confirmation, then your kit with its download link. Sign in with the same email address and the kit is waiting under My Kits, with the audio and flashcards.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes. Choose “As a gift” in the buy box and enter their name and email address, plus a short message if you like. They get the kit by email the moment you pay, with their name in the book, and find it under My Kits when they sign in with that address. Your order confirmation comes to you. Already have the kit? You can still give it to someone.

Can I get my money back?

The kit is delivered the moment you pay, so the 14-day right of withdrawal ends when delivery begins (you agree to this with the checkbox before paying). If something doesn't work or isn't what we promised, write to us and we'll put it right.

Can I get it printed?

A printed copy delivered to your door is planned as an extra. Buyers hear about it first.
